This Open Toe 1/4" foot allows you to sew a scant 1/4-inch seam.  This is a great foot to use for paper piecing because it allows for better visibility.  You can align the fabric to the edge of your foot when sewing.  
This foot fits the Featherwieght as well as all low shank machines.
