This Low Shank stitch in the ditch foot allows you to stitch between the fabrics.  You must keep the stitch as close to the middle of your seam as possible and your eye on the needle at all times. You do not want your stitches to wander in and out, far away from your seam. (Therefore, it is important that all seams align perfectly so that your stitch will be in a straight line.)
